8 Qualities of a Wealthy Woman

Are you a wealthy woman?  Maybe you possess the qualities of a wealthy woman and don’t realize it.

Many times we think wealthy is a money thing and it’s so much more than that.  One of the definitions for wealth is prosperous, an abundance or profusion of anything; plentiful amount.  You can have an abundance of any of the 8 qualities and be wealthy in that specific area.  I guess it’s a matter of having them all that brings the balance and makes you a well rounded “wealthy/prosperous” woman.  A friend of mine sent me an email that had the 8 qualities of a wealthy woman and I’d love to share them with you.

  1. Harmony
  2. Balance
  3. Courage
  4. Generosity
  5. Happiness
  6. Cleanliness
  7. Beauty
  8. Wisdom

Let’s see what each of these characteristics mean:

Harmony is defined as an agreement in feeling and opinion. Where self, feelings, thinking, saying and doing come together as one.

Balance is mental steadiness or emotional stability; habit of calm behavior and judgment.  I say if you work hard, you should play hard.  Prioritizing is critical in achieving balance, keeping the main thing, the main thing.

Courage is the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery.

Generosity is freedom from meanness or smallness of mind or character; readiness or liberality in giving.  In my opinion it’s making it our mission to be a blessing everywhere we go.  Finding people to bless with a smile, a kind word, a gesture and sure with money and doing it from the heart because it’s the right thing to do and not so that others can see our acts of kindness.

Happiness is the quality or state of being happy; good fortune; pleasure; contentment; joy. I’d add that it’s a state of being happy regardless of your current circumstances, it comes from within and no one or thing can take it away from you.  Don’t give people or a thing the control of your state of joy and peace.  Happines is a choice and I choose to be happy, content and walk in joy and peace no matter what I’m going through or what people do to me.  That means I won’t be an emotional rollercoaster going up and down and all around.

Cleanliness is to be personally neat; careful to keep or make clean; habitually kept clean.  You can’t expect to get a brand new car if you don’t take care of the one you have.  How are you going to handle your mansion if you can’t keep your 1 bedroom apartment clean?  This covers your things as much as it covers your personal appearance.  We must dress for where we’re going not for where we are at.  It has nothing to do with expensive clothing; it has to do with smelling and looking your best.

Beauty is the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (as shape, color, sound, etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest); an individually pleasing or beautiful quality; grace; charm.  Beauty comes from within.  I truly believe my weight loss was a result of an inner process that manifested itself outwardly.  When I dealt with some of the inner issues then I was ready to work on the outside.  No point in being beautiful on the outside and having ugly come out of your mouth.

Wisdom is the quality or state of being wise; knowledge of what is true or right coupled with just judgment as to action; sagacity, discernment, or insight.  You can have knowledge but if you don’t know how to apply it, it’s useless.  Without wisdom we make wrong choices, get wrong associations and go through wrong doors.

I took a close look at each of them and was thankful that my friend saw these characteristics in me.  I’m still a work in progress and need to work on some more than others, the good thing is I’m on my way and I’m a better person today than I was yesterday and that’s what counts.

Which of the 8 qualities do you need to work on?

Don’t lose hope, we’re all under construction.

The best is yet to come!
